KITCHENER, Ont. - On Wednesday, Oct. 9, the Conestoga College women's varsity fastball team had the pleasure of putting on a skills clinic for Kitchener Minor Girls Softball.
Twenty girls ranging in age from 7-13 attended. Skills such as outfielding, bunting, hitting, catching and sliding were demonstrated and taught by the varsity players.
Everyone had a great time and the young girls picked some valuable lessons from the Condors.
This was a great opportunity for Conestoga Varsity Athletics to contribute back to the community, and the event is expected to be repeated with even greater success next year.
