LONDON, Ont. - Nathan McFadden, manager of athletics at Fanshawe College, announced today the addition of OCAA men's baseball and women's fastball to the Falcons varsity program for the 2014 season. With the addition of these two sports, the Falcons athletics program will grow to 14 sports for the 2014-15 season, including 19 teams and 250 student-athletes.
"We are very excited to add these two sports to our premiere intercollegiate program. Baseball and fastball provides the opportunity for another 44 student athletes to compete for championships at the OCAA level for Fanshawe and be a part of the Falcons experience," stated McFadden. "The London community has a strong reputation for developing players in both baseball and fastball and we look forward to providing players with the opportunity to pursue their academic and athletic goals at Fanshawe College."

teams (St. Clair, Humber, Durham, George Brown and Seneca) while
the OCAA women's fastball league is comprised of six collegiate
programs (St. Clair, Humber, Durham, Conestoga, Seneca, and
Mohawk).
The Falcons men's baseball program will play their home games at
historic Labatt Park, while the women's fastball program will play
home games at Stronach Park.
