WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's fastball team shut out Seneca College in a pair of wins on Sunday at the campus diamond and moved their OCAA leading record to 9-0 on the season.

Pitching in drizzly wet conditions Alexa Georgiou continued her fine performance on the mound this season for the Saints allowing only five hits while throwing complete games in both ends of the doubleheader. See below some more highlights from each game.

St. Clair (8-0) defeated Seneca (3-5) by a score of 5-0.

Alexa Georgiou allowed only three hits in a complete game shutout for the Saints and struck out nine batters with only one walk allowed. St. Clair was led offensively by first baseman Skylar Patteson who had two hits and an RBI adding a run scored. Right fielder Jordan Beauchesne contributed with an RBI triple and scored twice.

St. Clair (9-0) defeated Seneca (3-6) by a score of 5-0.

Georgiou pitched to another complete game shutout for the Saints striking out 11 batters while only surrendering two hits and two walks. Catcher Amelia Maniuk led St. Clair at the plate going 2-for-3 while Patteson chipped in with an RBI single.

The St. Clair women's fastball team travel to Hamilton to face Mohawk College in a doubleheader on Wednesday as they continue their OCAA regular season.
