KITCHENER, Ont. - The Conestoga Condors scored five times in the second inning and went on to an 8-1 win over the Mohawk Mountaineers in OCAA women's fastball in Kitchener on Saturday (Oct. 5).

Acadia Northfield picked up the win and Tamara Cochrane suffered the loss.

Becky Rabchuk drove in Mohawk's only run. Nicole Leitch went 2-for-3, while Jennifer VanDyk was 1-for-2.

The Mountaineers' winless string stretched to 12 games. Conestoga improved to 6-6.
