HAMILTON, Ont. - The Mohawk women's softball team is still looking for its first victory.
The Mountaineers were defeated 13-2 by the Conestoga Condors at Mohawk Sports Park on Thursday. It was the fifth straight loss by the Mountaineers to start the OCAA campaign. Conestoga improved to 4-1.
After the hectic start to the season, Mohawk now has considerable time off. They have a doubleheader at St. Clair in Windsor, Ont., on Sunday, Sept. 21.
