Mohawk (7-3) defeated St. Clair (1-9) by a score of 99-64.

Mohawk stormed out of the gate putting up 28 points in the first quarter missing only a few shots in the frame.  St. Clair returned the favour in the second quarter but could only pull within ten points and went into half-time down 47-37.  Mohawk poured it on the third quarter and stretched out their lead never looking back.

Rookie guard Eli Hesley (Windsor/Riverside) had a game high 21 points including five 3-pointers for St. Clair.  Stephan Gray (Milton) also reached double figures with 15 points and Alex Temesy (Amherstburg/General Amherst) chipped in with 10 points for the Saints.

Mohawk's Aminu Bello had 19 points to help his team to the victory.

The St. Clair Basketball teams go on the road Jan. 18th when they visit Fanshawe College (London) continuing their OCAA West Region Schedule.
