DURHAM 70, FLEMING 53

OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's basketball team dominated the second half against Fleming on Tuesday as they outscored the Knights 42-25 in the final 20 minutes to come up with a 70-53 victory.

The win snaps a three-game losing streak for the Lords as they swept the season series 2-0 over Fleming.

Ali Sadaat had a big game on the glass for Durham as he hauled in 13 rebounds while scoring eight points. Randy Osei led all Durham scorers with 18 points while Christoff Pierre chipped in with 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Nine of Pierre's points came from beyond the arc.

Fleming's Alex Holland had a game-high 20-point performance while teammate Brandon Chambers had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Durham improves to 5-13 on the season, two games ahead Fleming who sits at 3-15.

The Lords will have one more road game (Friday night against George Brown) before closing out the season at home against the St. Lawrence Vikings on Tuesday, February 19.
