HUMBER 86, SHERIDAN 84

ETOBICOKE, Ont. - The teams and coaches may try and downplay the way the Humber-Sheridan mens basketball game is viewed with regards to it being the biggest game on the schedule each year, but you would be hard pressed to tell the 1,000 plus spectators on hand that anything has changed.

The Humber Hawks avenged an earlier loss on Sheridan's home court by way of an 86-84 nailbiting win on home court. With the win the Hawks regular season record ends up at an impressive 15-3, and are currently on a 10-game winnigng streak. They finished in a three-way tie with Sheridan and Mohawk.

The game was a true back and forth affair, with Sheridan taking the first and fourth quarter and Humber dominating the second and third.

The Humber player of the game was Brandon Sam-Hinton.

Humber will host a crossover playoff game on Saturday night at 6 p.m. at the Humber Athletic Centre, with their opponent yet to be determined.
