LAMBTON 83, ST. CLAIR 79

SARNIA, Ont. - The St. Clair Saints men's basketball team opened the second half of their OCAA west region schedule with an 83-79 loss to Lambton College in Sarnia, Ont., on Friday night.

The Saints held a 49-38 lead at halftime but their shooting percentage dipped down the stretch. In the game's final moment St. Clair had an opportunity to take the lead but missed the shot.

Shooting guard Shavon Gayle (Windsor, Ont./Catholic Central) scored a game-high 25 points for the Saints adding 10 rebounds for the double-double. Trevelle Blythe (Windsor, Ont./WF Herman) made five triples and finished with 17 points while post player Adam Bering (Windsor, Ont./St. Anne) also reached double figures chipping in with 11 points for St. Clair.

Lambton's Shawn Hill (Brantford, Ont.) scored 24 points to lead his team in the win.
