ST. CLAIR MEN'S BASKETBALL BOW OUT IN SEMIS AT GEORGE BROWN TOURNEY

TORONTO - The St. Clair College men's basketball team dropped a 102-67 decision to Mohawk College (Hamilton) in the semifinal game of the George Brown College Husky Classic Sunday afternoon.

After shooting the ball well in the first half, the Saints could not sustain the effort in the second half as Mohawk pulled away with a decided advantage in rebounding (74-57), free throw points (28-10) and points off turnovers (24-6).

First-year shooting guard Trevon Mollison (Brampton) led St. Clair with 14 points and joined Lance Drummonds (13 points), Patrick Donnelly (13 points) and Max Reiner (10 points) in double figures.

The St. Clair men's basketball team is next in action at home against Redeemer University College (Ancaster) on Jan. 16 with tip time at 3 p.m.
