With three additional schools withdrawing from OCAA men's rugby this season, the league has been reduced to five teams. The remaining clubs will play a single-round robin totalling four (4) regular season matches.

The regular season schedule will take place over five separate weekends in the fall to fit in necessary byes for teams due to an odd number of teams in the league. The season debuts with two matches on Saturday, Sept. 25, including the two-time reigning OCAA champion Durham Lords (Oshawa) visiting the St. Lawrence Surge (Kingston).

Week 3 is highlighted by a rematch of a 2019 semi-final as the Georgian Grizzlies (Barrie) entertain the Humber Hawks (Etobicoke), the reigning OCAA silver and bronze medalists, respectively, for a pre-Thanksgiving appetizer on Saturday, Oct. 9. The regular season concludes on Saturday, Oct. 23 with a rematch of the last two OCAA gold medal matches as Durham visits Georgian.

The top four teams in the standings move on to the OCAA semi-finals either Saturday, Nov. 6 or Saturday, Nov. 7 as the top seed hosts the lowest seed, while the second-place team entertains the third. The following weekend, the winning semi-final teams will battle for the OCAA championship, while the losing teams will compete for the OCAA bronze medal.

All OCAA schedules for the 2021-22 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.

The finishing touches are being made to the Women's Rugby Sevens regular season schedule and will be announced in the coming days.
