MEN'S RUGBY DIVISIONS

EAST WEST
Algonquin (Ottawa) Conestoga (Kitchener)
Durham (Oshawa) Georgian (Barrie)
St. Lawrence (Kingston) Humber (Etobicoke)
Seneca (North York) Sheridan (Oakville)

The league will return to a two-division format in 2023, with teams playing a single round robin against opponents within their division, plus two additional games against teams from the opposite division for five total matches.

The reigning champion Durham Lords (Oshawa) begin their season on the road against the Seneca Sting (North York) on Sept. 16. But their following match will be circled on many calendars as Durham plays host to the Georgian Grizzlies (Barrie) on Sept. 24 in a rematch of last season's OCAA gold medal match.

Both the Algonquin Wolves (Ottawa) and Conestoga Condors (Kitchener) make their return to OCAA men's rugby after long absences. Conestoga debuts on Sept. 15 at Georgian, while Algonquin hosts the St. Lawrence Surge (Kingston) the following day.

A total of 20 matches will be played over a span of 37 days. The top three teams in each division at the conclusion of the regular season advance to the post-season, with the top seeds earning a bye into the semi-finals.

The second seeded teams will host the third seeded teams from the opposite division in the quarter-final round. The top two seeds will then host the quarter-final winners in the semi-finals, with the winners advancing to the OCAA gold medal match. The losing teams will play in the OCAA bronze medal match. The higher seed in each post-season game will be the host.

All OCAA schedules for the 2023-24 season, including dates, times and locations, are subject to change.
