GEORGE BROWN 3, CANADORE 2

TORONTO - The Canadore Panthers men's varsity volleyball team played their first game on the road this season and lost a close five set battle to George Brown College in Toronto.

"After losing the first two sets, the team fought hard to win the third and fourth sets. After a slow start, the team came back to find themselves in a five-set battle losing 15-11 in the fifth set. Even though we lost, there are many positives we can take away from today. We passed well as a team and the fundamentals came together, just small things need to be fixed," explained Tim Ryan, head coach of the Panthers men's team.

"GET YOUR CLAWS OUT" to support your Canadore Panthers in home game action this coming Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Education Centre Gymnasium. Men's basketball starts the action off at 1 p.m. vs. Durham, followed by women's and men's volleyball at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. vs. Trent University.
