ST. CLAIR 3, SHERIDAN 1

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair men's volleyball team had a good weekend as they split both of their matches at home.

On Saturday, the Sheridan Bruins travelled to Windsor to take on the Saints. St. Clair handled the Bruins on this night winning the match 3-1. Game scores for St. Clair were 24-26, 25-18, 25-21 and 27-25. Jason Hernandez (Harrow) led the way offensively with 17 kills and three stuff blocks.

On Sunday, the Saints had their hands full as they hosted the top-ranked Humber Hawks. The Hawks are ranked second in Ontario and fourth in Canada. The Saints struggled on the day ended up losing the match 3-0. Game scores for Humber were 25-21, 25-21 and 25-23. Manik Jandoria (Windsor/Holy Names) had a strong game with six kills for St. Clair. Humber's record improved to 6-1 with the win.

The St. Clair men are now 5-2 on the season and sit in a tie for third place in the OCAA West Division.

The Saints are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Ancaster to take on the Redeemer Royals.
