CANADORE 3, LA CITE 0

OTTAWA - The Canadore Panthers men's varsity volleyball team followed the women's lead by sweeping the La Cite Coyotes in three straight sets in away game action today.

Today's game was the first away game that the Panther men have won this season.

Canadore assistant coach Marc Denomee commented on the season so far by saying, "The guys have been working hard physically all semester long and it really showed in their strength and endurance this weekend. We'll give them some time to rest up now and come back strong second semester to make a push for playoffs."

Player of the game Charlie Hancock says, "Even though we split our games this weekend, as a team we're happy with the way we played. Our passing was good which really opened up our options offensively and that allowed us to be successful."

Hancock added about their first half of the season, "It feels good to end the semester on a win and I think it will help us work harder over the break and focus more so we can get what we need done in the second semester."
