WELLAND, Ont. - Mohawk College divided a pair of decisions in Ontario Colleges Athletic Association volleyball at Niagara College on Friday.

The Mountaineer men scored a 25-19, 25-21, 25-18 sweep of the hometown Knights.

Charlie Hancock and Eric Danecke matched offensive statistics, as each recorded 11 kills and one stuff block. Adam Schiedel contributed seven kills and four service aces. Mark Kaveckas had 35 assists.

Niagara won the women's match, also in a sweep of games, 25-18, 25-13, 25-15, with Lucy McClay leading the Knights with nine kills, four aces and eight digs.

For Mohawk, Kayley Duncan had five kills and two aces, while Lynsay Collette racked up 11 assists, three aces and eight digs.
