FANSHAWE 3, REDEEMER 0

LONDON, Ont. - The Fanshawe Falcons (2-2) faced the Redeemer Royals (1-4) Wednesday night and came up with another win. Fanshawe won in straight sets 25-23, 25-22 and 25-19, respectively.

The Falcons started off strong against Redeemer, putting up a huge block at the net. The Royals battled back and were even up 21-19 before Fanshawe took over. The Falcons scored on four consecutive kills and went on to win the first set 25-23. Harrison Connell had six kills in the set for the Fanshawe.

Fanshawe carried their momentum into the second set and led 10-4 early on. The Falcons continued to push and seemed in complete control until Redeemer took at timeout at 24-17. After getting the ball back, the Royals would score another five points before Fanshawe could put one away to win the second set 25-22 and take a 2-0 lead in the match.

The third set started out close but with the score 15-11. Fanshawe pulled away and went on to win 25-19. The Falcons swept the match in three straight sets.

The Falcons next travel to take on the Sheridan Bruins on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 3 p.m.
