REDEEMER 3, ST. CLAIR 2

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's volleyball dropped a close match on Saturday afternoon at the Sportsplex in their first game of the second semester.

In an exciting back and forth game the Saints lost to the Redeemer Royals by a score of 3-2. After winning the first two sets, Redeemer stormed back to win the next three. The Saints lost each of the last three sets by two points each and had several chances to put the Royals away but couldn't pull it off.

Game scores for Redeemer were 21-25, 11-25, 25-23, 25-23 and 15-13. Justin Fisher had a solid match for St. Clair with 10 kills on 24 attacks, one ace and one stuff block. Michael Knight also had a good match with 14 kills, one stuff block and nine digs. Jared Niziolek chippind in as well with nine kills, one ace and 11 digs.

With the loss St. Clair's record fell to 2-8 on the season while Redeemer improved to 7-3. St. Clair is next in action when it hosts the top-ranked Niagara Knights on Sunday, Jan. 17 at the Sportsplex at 4 p.m.
