HAMILTON, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins came charging out to a 10-1 lead and went on to sweep the Mohawk Mountaineers 25-16, 25-19, 25-22 in OCAA men's volleyball on Saturday in Hamilton, Ont.

The decision left the two teams with identical 11-5 records in the West Division.

Josh Butler had 15 kills and four stuff blocks for the Bruins. Jeremy Fantin had 11 kills and one service ace. Justin Kong dished up 37 assists.

For the Mountaineers, Eric Girard had 11 kills and Trevor McLaughlin added eight kills and five blocks. Chris Spack managed 24 assists.
