MOHAWK 3, CAMBRIAN 0

HAMILTON, Ont. - The Mohawk men's volleyball team made quick work of the Cambrian Golden Shield on Saturday at the David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre. The Mountaineers beat their visitors from Sudbury, Ont., in straight sets, 25-15, 25-11, 25-11.

It was the third consecutive victory for Mohawk, which improved to 10-3, while Cambrian is still looking for it's first win, at 0-13.

Andrew Dube had 10 kills to pace the Mountaineers. Charlie Hancock had nine kills and three stuff blocks, while Nathan Delguidice logged eight kills and three blocks. Jesse Walczak had 30 assists.

Ryan Marcotte and Chris Chedore each had four kills and one block for the Golden Shield. Kyle Breault-O'Brien picked up 13 assists.
