FANSHAWE 3, ST. CLAIR 0

LONDON, Ont. - The St. Clair College men's volleyball team travelled up the 401 to London, Ont., on Tuesday night to take on the top-ranked Fanshawe Falcons.

The Saints came up against a hot Fanshawe squad and ended up losing the match 3-0. Set scores for Fanshawe were 25-15, 25-20 and 25-20. Oswald Marshall led the way for St. Clair with 12 kills, two stuff blocks and four digs.

With the loss, the Saints record dropped to 7-9 on the season while Fanshawe improved to 15-1.

The St. Clair men are currently ranked eighth in the OCAA and sit in seventh place in the OCAA West Division while the Fanshawe men are ranked first in Ontario and first in Canada. The Saints have two more home games remaining this weekend and must win both matches to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The St. Clair men are next in action on Saturday, Feb. 11 when they host the Cambrian Golden Shield at the SportsPlex at 4 p.m. The match will be live streamed on www.we-tv.ca.
