St. Clair (1-0) defeated Lambton (0-1) by a score of 63-54.

Lambton battled well in its OCAA debut leading at half-time 28-26 using some timely shooting.  St. Clair started to shoot the ball better in the second half and managed to keep their turnovers down enough to take control of the game.

The Saints were led offensively by Amanda McCarthy (Windsor/Assumption) who scored a game high 20 points including 3 triples.  Arica Price (Fort McMurray, AB) and Bienka Jones (Tecumseh/L'Essor) each reached double figures for the St. Clair and scored 13 apiece.  Price added 8 assists while Kaylee Williams (Amherstburg/General Amherst) had 11 rebounds.

Melanie Bouchard had 13 points for Lambton is a losing effort.
