FLEMING (P) 58, DURHAM 53 (FINAL)

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Durham College suffered a tough loss on Friday night as they dropped a 58-53 decision to the Fleming Knights.

After starting the season 2-0, the Lords have loss three straight games and fall back to fourth place in the OCAA east region conference standings.

Kelsey Hare, Erin Emery and Keriann Sullivan all had 12 points apiece for Durham in the loss. Sullivan finished with her second double-double of the season as she grabbed 11 boards.

Kenesha Stinchcombe-Brown also had a good outing for Durham as she scored eight points. She also played well in the defensive zone holding Fleming's Kelly Killoran to just two three pointers. Killoran leads the OCAA in three point shooting.

Erin Emery now has 861 career points, trailing Bonnie Slaughter by just 25 for the all-time Durham College scoring lead.

Durham is 2-3 and will travel to Kingston on Wednesday against the St. Lawrence Vikings (0-6).

The Lords next home game is on Friday, December 2 against the George Brown Huskies. Fans are encouraged to donate a toy at the game in support of the Sick Kids foundation.
