LOYALIST 74, DURHAM 55 (FINAL)

BELLEVILLE, Ont. – Durham College women's basketball senior Erin Emery moved up another spot on the OCAA all-time scoring charts this weekend as she scored 12 points in a 74-55 loss to the Loyalist Lancers.

Emery has 954 career points and moved into fourth place in OCAA all-time scoring, as she passed Sara Maybee of Algonquin College who had 949 career points. The North Bay native will look to become only the third player in OCAA history to reach the 1,000 point plateau with six games remaining in the regular season.

Emery and teammate Kelsey Hare of Whitby were the Lords leading scorers with 12 points in the loss. The Durham duo entered the game as the OCAA east region's top scorers.

The Lancers were led by Jenni Thompson and Samantha Goff who had 19 and 18 points respectively.

Loyalist (7-4) is on a four game winning streak while the Lords (4-6) have dropped three of their last four games.

Durham will look to get back in the win column on Friday night as they head to Ottawa to take on the first place Algonquin Thunder (8-1). Game time is at 6 p.m.
