DURHAM 80, ST. LAWRENCE (K) 41 (FINAL)

OSHAWA, Ont. – Durham College led from start to finish in their game against the St. Lawrence Vikings on Friday night as they won by a score of 80-41 in OCAA women's basketball action.

This was the Lords highest offensive output and their largest margin of victory this season.

"Tonight's win was a total team effort," said Durham College head coach Tim Baulk. "Everyone in the line-up contributed to the victory as the team is really coming together heading into the postseason."

The Lords entire line-up played at least ten minutes in the game while ten players scored at least one point.

Although the offence was red hot on Friday night, the Lords defence was the difference maker in the game. Durham hauled in 51 rebounds while forcing 24 St. Lawrence turnovers.

Third year starter Kelsey Hare (Whitby, Ont.) had a great game at both ends of the court as she had 18 points, seven rebounds and four steals in just over 19 minutes of play. Hare is averaging 15.8 points per game which is third in the OCAA east region.

Erin Emery (North Bay, Ont.) had a team high 22 points in the win while Odette Stephens (Scarborough, Ont.) and Kenesha Stinchcombe-Brown (Toronto, Ont.) had nine points apiece.

Leading the way for St. Lawrence was Corisa Cluett with 19 points.

Durham has won three of their last four games and have clinched fifth place in the OCAA east region. They will play an exhibition game on Saturday against Cambrian and close out their regular season on Wednesday night against Seneca.
