Sheridan (12-5) defeated St. Clair (5-12) by a score of 79-61.
 
St. Clair stayed with the West Region third place team from Sheridan for three quarters but untimely turnovers (38) and poor free throw shooting (46%) proved to be their undoing down the stretch.  Down only seven points at half-time (42-35) and eight points after three quarters (60-52) St. Clair was outscored 19-9 in the decisive fourth quarter.
 
Kelly Rizea (Windsor/Vincent Massey) had 20 points for St. Clair including four triples.  Arica Price (Fort McMurray, AB) had a double-double with 15 points adding 10 assists and 6 steals.  Daniella Abrams (Windsor/Vincent Massey) also had a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds adding 3 blocked shots.
 
Sheridan's Michelle Asare had 26 points to lead all scorers.
 
The St. Clair Women's team finish the season against Humber College (Etobicoke) on Saturday at 4:00pm.
