Sheridan (3-3) defeated St. Clair (2-4) by a score of 64-58.
 
St. Clair started slow but were able to cut the lead to six at halftime and trailed Sheridan 28-22 at the break.

A strong third quarter led by Kelly Rizea's 13 points in the frame saw the Saints take the lead briefly. It was short-lived as Sheridan was able to put together a late run to maintain a cushion at 52-47.

St. Clair could not make enough shots down the stretch to threaten Sheridan's lead. Kelly Rizea led the Saints with 18 points and nine rebounds while Bienka Jones (15 points, eight rebounds) and Kendyl Rizea (14 points, six rebounds, five assists) also reached double figures.

The Saints basketball teams host Humber College Saturday, Nov. 24 with the women at 6 p.m. and men at 8 p.m.
