BELLEVILLE, Ont. - In a tightly contested battle the hometown Lancers were able to hold off the visiting Fleming Knights to claim their fourth victory of the season.

After trailing 13-9 at the end of the first quarter Loyalist was able to put up 23 points in the second to enjoy a six-point halftime lead. Hailey Sisler had the hot hand in the first half leading all scorers with 12 points.
 
The second half saw the Lancers leading scorer Jenny Thompson catch on fire. After scoring only four points in the first half she scored 19 second half points to end the night with 23 points.
 
Samantha Goff continued to show why she is the leading rebounder in the Nation as she finished the night with 15 boards and chipped in with six points.
 
Janel Lovell led all scorers as she had a game-high 24 points for the Fleming Knights.
