LONDON, Ont. - JenJen Abella had 19 points, three assists and four steals and Careena Browne added 13 points to lead the Mohawk women's basketball team to a 61-50 victory over Fanshawe in London, Ont., on Saturday.

Katelyn Arbour came down with nine rebounds for the Mountaineers, who won their second straight game and improved to 9-3, while the Falcons fell to 9-4.

"I can't say enough about these girls," admitted Mohawk head coach Kevin Duffy. "We are short handed, we have kids playing hurt and yet they find a way."

The top gun for Fanshawe was Mikhaila Wright with 15 points. Laura Vere and Natalie Warren had 10 points each.
