ST. CLAIR 3, NIAGARA 1 (FINAL)

The St. Clair College men's and women's volleyball teams finished off their first semester schedules when they travelled to Welland to take on the Niagara Knights on Sunday afternoon.

In the women's match, the Saints came away with a hard fought win by a match score of 3-1. Game scores for St. Clair were 25-21, 25-22, 16-25 and 25-20. St. Clair was led by Deanna Harris with 13 kills, 2 stuff blocks, 2 service aces and 13 digs. The Saints improved to 3-6 on the season while Niagara  fell to 4-4 on the season. On Saturday afternoon the St. Clair women lost a tough match to Redeemer by a score of 3-1. The Saints are still in playoff contention in a very tight OCAA West Division heading into the second semester.

Both Saints teams are now off for the exam and Christmas break.
