GEORGIAN 3, BOREAL 0

The Georgian Grizzlies women's volleyball team is officially on fire.

After a victory over the visiting Loyalist Lancers Saturday afternoon the Grizzlies welcomed the Boreal Vipers on Sunday and made quick work of the visitors from Sudbury with a 3-0 win.

The Grizzlies continued their strong play putting together winning sets of 25-15, 25-8 and 25-15 in front of their home fans.

Again it was strong team play that Georgian used to gain the win with ten different Grizzlies scoring points led by Natalie Buck (12 points), Hannah Campbell (10 points) and Erin McClean (nine points).

Alex Albert led the Vipers in scoring with four points.

The win is the Grizzlies fourth straight in OCAA regular season play and gives Georgian a 9-3 record on the season. They currently sit in a three-way tie for second place in the East Division standings.

The Grizzlies hit the road next weekend for big games against Fleming and Trent before returning home for a pair of games on January 26 and 27 against Durham and Cambrian.
