DURHAM 3, LOYALIST 0

BELLEVILLE, Ont. - Durham College's hot streak continued on Friday night as they earned a 3-0 sweep over the Loyalist Lancers in OCAA women's volleyball.

Durham has won 11 straight conference games as they improve to 12-1 on the season, sitting in top spot of the OCAA east region.

The Lords had one of their best performances of the year, beating Loyalist by set scores of 25-14, 25-13 and 25-22.

Defence was the key to Durham's victory, as they limited the Lancers scoring opportunities all night long. The green and gold were led by libero Colleen McRobert (Whitby, Ont.) who had 13 digs in the win.

Allison Doris (Ajax, Ont.) had a big night on the offensive end of the court as she scored 15 points of total offence including 11 kills. Lords leading scorer Leah Saar (Pickering, Ont.) continued to impress as she scored 11 points in the win. Saar came into the match averaging 3.4 points per game, second in east region scoring.
