CANADORE 3, GEORGE BROWN 0

TORONTO - The Canadore Panthers women's varsity volleyball team played their first game on the road this season and won in three straight sets over the George Brown Huskies in Toronto.

Coming off of their first win at home, the Canadore Panthers continued to play well together and came away with a win in three straight sets. The sets ended with scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-16.

The leading scorer of the game was Kayla Kosturik with seven kills and the player of the game was Carley Stickle who passed a 2.4 and added 16 digs.

Canadore head coach Stefanie Hancock says, "The ladies played disciplined volleyball. Served well and passed well and when we do that, we're hard to beat!"

"GET YOUR CLAWS OUT" to support your Canadore Panthers in home game action this coming Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Education Centre Gymnasium. Men's basketball starts the action off at 1 p.m. vs. Durham, followed by women's and men's volleyball at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. vs. Trent University.
