REDEEMER 3, NIAGARA 1

ANCASTER, Ont. - The Lady Royals defeated the Niagara Knights 3-1 on Wednesday Night to run their record to 4-2 on the season. Game scores were 25-14, 25-19, 22-25, 25-13.

The Royals controlled the run of play for most of the night winning big in the first set and the third.

Curtiss Straatsma led the Royals in points with 11 kills and four aces. Straatsma also added 13 digs. Charlene De Vries added eight points and three blocks. Kimberly Stewart had 22 assists in the match for the Royals.

Madison Morgan led the Knights with 10 kills.

The Royals are right back at it again on Friday when they travel to Fanshawe College for a important mid-season match.
