"We deserved to win tonight," said Mohawk head coach Andrew Nicholson. "Conestoga defended well but we really played well enough for extended periods, to win this match. Unfortunately we passed poorly at the very beginning and very end of the fifth set. We have dug ourselves a huge hole now but we still have time to get back into playoff contention."

Both Mohawk teams will meet Redeemer at the Braley Centre next Thursday, Dec. 5. It'll be their final action before the holiday break.
