FANSHAWE 3, NIAGARA 1

WELLAND, Ont. - The Fanshawe Falcons headed to Niagara College last Friday to take on the Knights (4-4).

Fanshawe took care of business and won the match in four sets (25-27, 25-19, 25-14, 25-15). Fanshawe sits in second place in the OCAA West Division standings and has now won seven matches in a row.

After losing a close first set, Fanshawe took control and dominated the rest of the match. A balanced attack was the key with four different Falcons all scoring over 10 points. Ashley Hosfeld led the way with 15 points, including 13 kills.

Fanshawe faces the St. Clair Saints (5-3) this Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. in Windsor, Ont. St. Clair is currently tied for third in OCAA West Division and is led by Rachel Rivers, who averages 3.6 points per set.
