Friday's matches with Cambrian was dedicated to Charlotte Huitema, a member of the Mohawk women's team, who was in a car accident earlier in the week. She is still recovering in St. Michael's hospital in Toronto and our thoughts and prayers are with Charlotte and her family. Both Mountaineer teams had Charlotte's No. 4 printed on their legs and the women wore purple ribbons, her favourite colour, in their hair. At the conclusion of the match, Cambrian presented Mohawk a card for Charlotte and gave them cupcakes as well as white, orange and red hand made friendship bracelets.

There is no rest for the Mountaineers as they are right back in action Saturday afternoon, when the Boreal Viperes of Sudbury visit the DBARC. The women hit the floor first at 1 p.m. Boreal is winless in 13 matches after Redeemer beat them 3-0 Friday.

The men play at 3 p.m. Les Viperes are also winless in 13 after dropping a 3-1 decision at Redeemer to open their trip to Hamilton.
