DURHAM 3, ALGONQUIN 0

OTTAWA, Ont. - The Durham College women's volleyball team was firing on all cylinders on Friday night as they picked up their second win of the OCAA season.

On the road in Ottawa against Algonquin, they won in straight sets (25-23, 25-17, 25-21) to improve to 2-3.

Jessica Broad led the team in kills with 11, while Madison Rae-White had nine. Rae-White and Melissa Semeniuk picked up five blocks apiece for Durham.

Victoria Waizmann led Algonquin with eight kills. At the net it was Julianna Tebrake and Alixandra Burkart with five blocks apiece for the Thunder.

Saturday the Lords continue their road trip with a match at 1 p.m. against La Cité (1-3).
