DURHAM 3, FLEMING 0

OSHAWA, Ont. - The Durham College women's volleyball team continues to climb up the OCAA East standings.

With four straight wins, most recently a 3-0 victory over Fleming on Thursday night, the Lords have turned things around after their 1-3 start to the regular season.

In the win over Fleming it was Jessica Broad (Courtice, Ont.) that led the way with eight kills for Durham. Tess Newey (Hampton, Ont.) had seven, while Melissa Semeniuk (Pickering, Ont.) had three blocks to lead the Lords at the net.

Tabatha Casselman led Fleming with four kills in the loss. Karin Chang-Kue led her team with four blocks, while adding two kills.

The Lords won the opening set 25-16 before edging the Knights 25-22 in the second set. Durham won the third and final set 25-14.
