TRENT 3, SHERIDAN 2

ANCASTER, Ont. - It took untill Game 6 of the 2015 OCAA Women's Volleyball Championship for the fans to be treated to a five-set match as the Sheridan Bruins and Trent Excalibur both battled for their playoff lives. With everything on the line, Trent pulled out the 3-2 victory to position themselves in the hunt for the OCAA bronze medal.

The match was an impressive battle between both teams, as schools fough through momentum changes in a winner moves on and loser goes home scenerio. Trent took control of the match early, winning the first set 25-18 before Sheridan stormed back with a 25-12 win in the second set to even the score.

Sheridan moved into the lead in the third with a 25-20 win before Trent stole the fourth and fifth sets 25-22 and 15-11. Twelve points separated both teams over the course of the last three games.

Sheridan's Jordie Bevan and Trent's Sarah MacLaren stole the show with 17 kills each for their respective teams.

Sheridan's championship comes to and end while Trent will now move on to face the loser of the Durham-Cambrian match set to get underway at 6 p.m.
