SHERIDAN 3, MOHAWK 1

HAMILTON, Ont. - Kirsten Bialachowski would have preferred a better result to end her volleyball career, but she'll be cheering for the Mohawk Mountaineers the rest of the season.

Bialachowski, who is a first semester graduate, left with another fine performance Dec. 7 at the DBARC, despite Sheridan's 25-17, 21-25, 25-19, 25-18 verdict.

She had nine kills, one ace and two blocks. Yvonne Mann collected five kills, one ace, one block and 13 assists, Amanda Kuiper contributed two kills, five aces and 16 assists and Kinsley Child had five kills and one block.

Another player who completed her time with the Mountaineers because of her graduation, Natalie Przerwa, finished with two kills and three blocks.

Sheridan's top guns were Rachel Abrahams with 11 kills, four aces and one block, while Tamia Cooper-Evelyn had 13 kills, one ace and two blocks.

Both teams completed the first semester with 5-4 records.
