SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Mohawk's Adam-Cole Czuchnicki finished in eighth place at the OCAA Cross Country Championships In Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., on Saturday.
The Mountaineer runner was timed in 28:08 for the eight kilometre men's event. Rob Asselstine of St. Lawrence (Kingston, Ont.) was the winner in 26:41.

Jillian Ciccone was the top Mohawk runner in the women's five kilometre event, finishing 15th in 22:15. The race was captured by Emily Marcolini of Cambrian, who was clocked in 19:56.
