ST. CLAIR WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY OFF TO BROCKVILLE FOR NATIONALS

BROCKVILLE, Ont. - The St. Clair College women's cross country team left today for the CCAA national championship being run on Saturday at Memorial Park on the campus of host St. Lawrence College in Brockville, Ont.

Leading the Saints team will be second-year runner Natalie Omahen (Tecumseh, Ont./St. Anne) who finished fourth at the OCAA provincial championship two weekends ago in Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. Omahen was named a first-team OCAA all-star while Ashley Bracci (Windsor, Ont./Vincent Massey) earned a second-team inclusion after finishing 14th.

Omahen and Bracci will be joined by Tori Horrobin (Wallaceburg, Ont.), Beth Horrobin (Wallaceburg, Ont.) and Sara Duic (Belle River, Ont./St. Anne) who narrowly missed the podium at the provincials when the bronze team medal was decided by a tie-breaker.

The women's national championship race will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday with live Twitter updates at @AthleticsSLC and video via Periscope at @SLCAthletics.
