MOHAWK WELL REPRESENTED AT CCAA CROSS COUNTRY

BROCKVILLE, Ont. - Mohawk is scheduled to have seven runners in the field for the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Cross Country National Championships on Saturday. The event is being hosted by St. Lawrence College in Brockville, Ont.

Six of the Mohawk runners are men. Adam-Cole Czuchnicki leads the Mountaineer contingent. He finished eighth in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association championships. Also on the Mohawk men's team are Chris Caddey, Gallagher Patterson, Kyler Norton, Shane Singh and Jeff Whaling. The Mountaineers finished fourth in the OCAA team competition.

Mohawk will have one female runner. Jillian Ciccone was 15th in the Ontario race and will compete as an individual.

The women's race is over a five kilometre course. The men's distance is eight kilometres.
