TORONTO - The following have been named Ontario Colleges
Athletic Association (OCAA) soccer student-athletes of the week for
the period ending Sunday, Oct. 9.
MALE: Robert Malbasic, St. Clair
Robert Malbasic earned a hat trick in a 5-1 win over Lambton on Oct. 4 to become the OCAA's all-time leading scorer. Similar to Everson, Malbasic is a former two-time scoring champion in the OCAA. St. Clair is in a battle for a playoff berth in the OCAA West region.
FEMALE: Jennifer Begley, Fanshawe
Jennifer Begley scored three goals in a pair of matches, including a key 3-1 victory over Sheridan on Oct 5 which gave Fanshawe the inside track to clinching second place in the OCAA West region, and a home playoff game.
