GEORGE BROWN 0, ST. LAWRENCE (K) 0

KINGSTON, Ont. - For the first time since 1997, the St. Lawrence College Vikings men's soccer team has secured a spot in the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) playoffs after tying the George Brown College Huskies 0-0 on Friday, Oct. 4.

The teams would play a back and forth game with both having equal opportunities at each end.

Vikings goalkeeper, Patrick Sauve, would make several saves for the Vikings to keep the Huskies off the score sheet. Brandon Hunt would play a great game for the Vikings, coming close to scoring on a number of occasions.

The final game for the Vikings takes place on the road against the first place Algonquin College Thunder on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 3 p.m.

The Vikings will most likely finish sixth in OCAA East Division, and will face the third place finisher in their playoff game on the road, with the date, time, and opponent being confirmed on Monday, Oct. 7.
