CENTENNIAL 3, DURHAM 2

SCARBOROUGH, Ont. – The Durham College men's soccer team could not overcome a three-goal deficit, as the Centennial Colts remained undefeated with a 3-2 victory in Scarborough, Ont., on Saturday.

With the Colts leading 3-0, Durham veterans Duncan Mitchell (Oshawa, Ont.) and Dan Sukovski (Whitby, Ont.) scored to put the Lords within one. Late in the game, it looked as if Centennial's defence had committed a foul in the box, but the official did not make the call and time would eventually run out on the Lords' comeback attempt.

Centennial is undefeated this season with a 2-0-1 record while the Lords fall back to .500 at 2-2-0. Durham is tied with Seneca for third place in the OCAA east region standings.

Durham will look to get back in the win column on Thursday night but they will be put to the test hosting the George Brown Huskies (0-0-2). Kick-off is at 8 p.m.
