ST. CLAIR 3, REDEEMER 0

WINDSOR, Ont. - The St. Clair men's soccer team remain undefeated in OCAA league action. The Saints hosted the Redeemer Royals at the main campus field on Friday afternoon and came away with hard fought 3-0 win. With the win the men improved their record to three wins and two draws on the season. Redeemer fell to two wins, three losses and one draw.

In a closely played first half neither team could bulge the twine. St. Clair had a slight edge in play though with 11 attempts on net compared to five for Redeemer.

The Saints picked up their game a notch in the second half and finally beat the Redeemer keeper in the 70th minute on a goal by Celso Carapau (Leamington, Ont.). St. Clair iced the game in the 85th minute when Jordan Lidia (Leamington, Ont.) scored a nice goal to make the score 2-0. Gabriel Poulino (Windsor, Ont.) made it 3-0 in the 88th minute. Kyle Vizirakis (Windsor, Ont.) got the win and shutout in goal. The final shots on target for the match were 13 for St. Clair and four for Redeemer.

St. Clair will host the Niagara Knights on Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. in their final home game of the regular season at the main campus field.
