FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. - The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association is proud to announce the 2016 CCAA Men's Soccer All-Canadians.
The student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team, were honoured at a banquet during the 2016 CCAA Men's Soccer National Championship, hosted by Keyano College in Fort McMurray, Alta.
Here are the 2016 Men's Soccer All-Canadians:
Stefan Milidrag - St. Clair Saints
Milidrag scored nine times, including four game-winning goals, to lead the Saints to a first-place finish in the OCAA's West Division with a 7-1-2 record. The third-year striker is a quiet, hard worker who leads by example. Milidrag is an excellent person, on and off the field, and is well liked by his teammates.
Marcos Nunes - Humber Hawks
The OCAA Player of the Year had a conference-best 10 goals in leading defending CCAA national champion Humber to a perfect 10-0 record. Nunes, a two-time CCAA gold medalist, is a gentleman on the field and may be the most impactful player in Hawks' history. He consistently finds a way to elevate his play and score big goals in big games.
