EDMONTON - The country's top six women's teams have been
announced to play at the Canadian Colleges Athletic
Association’s (CCAA) 2010 Big Kahuna Women’s Soccer
National Championships at The Northern Alberta Institute of
Technology (NAIT). These National Championships will bring together
and showcase the talents of Canada’s top collegiate
women’s soccer teams.
Soccer fans will be witness to exciting and intense play in
Edmonton, AB November 10-13, 2010.
The following teams will compete at the CCAA 2010 Big Kahuna
Soccer National Championships:
Pool A:
Concordia University College of Alberta (ACAC)
College Francois-Xavier-Garneau (RSEQ)
Holland College – (ACAA)
Pool B:
Humber College (OCAA)
Kwantlen Polytechnic University (BCCAA)
NAIT – (ACAC)
The five-day event kicks off on Tuesday, November 9 with the CCAA
All Canadian & Opening Ceremonies Banquet commencing at 6:00pm
at Edmonton’s Mayfield Hotel.
Competition begins on Wednesday, November 10 and runs through
Saturday, November 13. All games will be played at Fuhr Sports
Fields in Spruce Grove, Alberta. The closing ceremonies attended by
all teams will be held Saturday, November 13th after the gold medal
game has been completed.
